Include all AutoCAD commands in "Civil 3D as AutoCAD"

Summary: "Civil 3D as AutoCAD" should include all of the same commands that are available in "vanilla" AutoCAD

Description: I only use Civil 3D for about 10% of my work. The other 90% of my work is done in regular AutoCAD. I sometimes find that commands that are available in stand-alone AutoCAD, like VIEWBASE specifically, are not available in "Civil 3D as AutoCAD". It is frustrating because I read about these features and tools that would make my work easier but they are not available to me.
I would like access to all of the same tools that users of "vanilla" AutoCAD enjoy.

Went the other way and added a lot of the CIV3D commands to a new Autocad menu saved in a workspace, when you look at a pull down menu you may only use 2-3 of say 10 items, the surface and alignment pop menu's were combined into 1 so gave space for another menu item.

uhmmmm. What exactly do you think is missing? It's the same ACAD.EXE after all, so it's almost certainly there.

I'm confused as well. The command specified in the wish pulls up a dialog to load a file in Civil 3D as AutoCAD 2016. Are there any other AutoCAD only commands that are disabled in the verticals?
