Hi,
We are are getting more and more jobs where both the Arch and us (Struct) are using Revit and most of it is great fun.
Nevertheless we have a few visibility issues when coordinating the two models and I was wondering whether the following is achievable?
On each floor plan we would like to see the structure and architectural walls at this level only as well as the structure below (columns, downstand beams etc. ) but no architectural walls below.
Unfortunately we have not quite figured out how to do this?
Normally we would set the discipline of the plan view to 'coordination' which shows all architectural (non structural) walls but all structure below disappear.
If we change 'hidden lines' to 'wire frame' than structure re-appears but everything looks a bit confusion. If at this stage we could somehow switch off the architectural walls below that would help. (I was thinking of using filters but didnt get very far?)
On the other hand if the discipline is set to 'structure' then all structure appears correct but the architectural walls are not showing up.
I guess we could get around this be changing all architectural walls in the Arch model to 'structural' but Im not convinced that this is the best solution?
Any help would be v. much appreciated.
Cheers,
Stephan
