Database problem

I have a question on the database management of REVIT. Apprently we can export REVIT database into excel or access. The problem is how can we link it back or import it?
I want to make some changes in the excel or access and reimport it into my file. But I found there is noway to do it.

Database management of Revit is Revit. You can export data as often as you like but you can not import changed data back into Revit. ODBC export is available to allow you to study the data created with Revit, not change it.

If you set up queries (in Access for example) to analyze Revit exported data, subsequent exports to ODBC/Access will not remove the queries you create. It will just update the data that has changed since the previous export.

For now it remains a one-way street.
