I am having the hardest time trying to model rafter tails. I saw a tip somewhere online to cut away the space between the rafters using cut geometry, but I can't seem to make it work for me.
Can someone explain the best practice for doing this?
Thanks in advance,

I'd probably use a line based family. Do a search for rafter tails and you'll find a number of older posts dealing with this issue.

I saw this really cool one a short while ago in referance to overhang tiles, that could be appled to also to birdsmouthed rafter tails maybe?
