Revit Extensions Structure Generator

Trying to use the structure generator but come up with message saying "Mesh elements are not found in the current selection. Check, if patterns are assigned to divided surfaces." Upon clicking OK (Only option avaible) message dissapears and nothing happens. Any reasons for this message?

I am having the same problem. Why won't this extension work?

Conceptual mass must be defined first. You can do as below:

1.Create contours on desired levels

2. Create form based on selected contours (option Create form)

3. Divide surfaces based on selected form (option Divide surface)

4. Apply meshing pattern in Properties dialog (f.ex. rectangle)


In-place families are not supported.

For famillies it will not be possible to update the file with structural elements
