Wish Granted? (Filter Schedule by Type)

According to http://forums.augi.com/showthread.php?140801-Filter-by-Family-and-Type-in-Schedule I should be able to filter by Type and/or Family Name in a schedule. I can't figure out how, in 2013. Maybe this is a OneBox only feature?

I think the fields have always been there, but even if you add them, you could not use them in a filter. Can anybody verify if this feature is or isn't available in 2013?
