Custom Fill Patterns

Hello all,

I've been doing a little research and haven't found anything to answer my questions. I was wondering if there was any way of creating a custom hatch pattern with different colour backgrounds. What I would like to create is basically a solid fill backgrounds (grey for example) with a horizontal pattern on top of it. So when I look at a regular horizontal pattern on the screen there is a white background to it. I would like to change the white part to different colours. I hope I am making sense. Is there anybody else out there that knows what I'm talking about and has a solution for it.

I don't think there is a way to do this as one hatch, but you could do two hatches, one on top of the other.

Maybe a better question is why? Are you trying to create fills for different wall types, or graphically show fire rated assemblies? What is the purpose of adding this second layer of color information to your fill?
