I am trying to place a Mark wall number to a stack wall. (Simple 6" CMU over a 10" CMU) The Wall Tag has the Mark over the Wall Type.... (easy) except The wall tag will not place a Mark (wall number) It is grayed out when I tag a Stack Wall. Any solution? Or Do I need to re-do the walls to seperate walls?

Thanks

I think those will need to be separate walls for that. (not stacked)

Why the need to number the walls? Curious.

Try using the TAB key to select the wall components. If you were not using a instance condition within your wall tag you can use the wall tag to identify the component walls of the stacked wall object.

The stacked wall tool is a system object condition. Trying to extract a mark or instance number can become a difficult extraction for a tag element. For the walls that make up the stacked wall they each have mark association parameters. And in conditions like this Revit seems to not reconize the program process and that is why you are faced with the number grayed out.
