Hey gang, new user here....

Our Autocad setup uses archstyle.shx. I have set up our office template for Revit using a handdrawn font called HANDSFN.TTF.

In Revit, text comes out looking fine (12'-0", for example), but dimension text comes out looking like 12' - 0". It appears that there is a space on both sides of the "-". Is there a way to format dimension text to appear as regular text?

Thanks bunches

I'm gonna bump this back up because I just noticed the same ****, dimensions add a space around the dash, this sucks, makes dimesioning very tight :(

Only fix i know of is to use a different font, or get a program like fontographer and customize the font to appear as you want. The formatting is pretty built-in... the space around the '-' can only be accessed by changing the font itself, AFAIK.

That is not true, it is a revit issue, it adds spaces before and after the dash, I can use the same font in autocad and there is no spaces. We need the option to turn this on or off

Here's an example

Yes. Revit should remove the spaces before and after the dash. How about a poll?
