Revit and Navisworks errors

Not sure if this is the right forum for this thread.

When I append a revit MEP model into Navisworks i get an error message "There were errors encountered while opening the Revit Model. Please open the file and fix the errors" Ok, i open the Revit model and i Audit the file and compact when synchronizing with central. The same error appears later in Navisworks. I am the CAD manger so i'm not working on the model itself only co-ordinating however there are a number of warnings in the MEP model itself ducts not conntected etc. Are these the "Errors" that Navisworks is telling me about or are these "errors" that navisworks is complaining about related to Auditing or stability issues with the files. We have 3 other Revit models Struct, Elec, and Arch, with no issues.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Have you tried exporting an .nwc file from Revit and appending that in Navisworks the old fashioned way? Appending a native Revit file may be the problem.
