I am trying to project a simple "W" on to a curved mass and I constantly get an error. This is not the first I have come across this but now it has happened enough for me to ask the question.

How am I suppose to get a custom division of my mass if I get this error? Any solutions?
I need the projections to be "blue" so I can use the nodes to attached an adaptive component.

Here is the error:

What is the final purpose of projecting the lines of the W on the curved plane? It can done by creating the W on a flat plane, and then lifting one edge of the plane to make the curved surface. But it would be good to know more information about the final goal.

The purpose for this is to add sloping mullions to curved glass.
My layout out is actually more complicted then this but since a simple "W" was not working I thought I would start with this. In the end I want to add gothic pointed arch projection lines also.
Thanks.

As I said above, one way to do it is to design all the elements flat at the reference level. The straight segments as reference lines, and the curved elements as splines with three points, and some reference planes in elevation. After the solids are created, the points are lifted to the reference planes, therefore the solids follow the curve:

Interesting, thanks for your response.
I will try this.
