Hello to all! I doubt anyone has ran into this issue before, but I will throw this out there. I have two machines that run several Autodesk products. The main machine is called "Desktop" and the roaming machine is called "Laptop". "Desktop" and "Laptop" both have Autodesk Vault Basic 2013. "Desktop" also has Autodesk Vault Server Basic. "Desktop" machine has a "Stand-Alone" license and "Laptop" has a "Network" license. "Desktop" is able to upload, manipulate, copy and do all the features Vault has to offer since it has the server on there too. "Laptop" is having a hard time connecting to "Desktop" to access the Vault. We are getting the dialog box that states ...could not find the data management services... we enter the proper name, password and server name that was set up in "Desktop" and yet we still get the error. "Laptop" can file share with "Desktop" with ease and vice-versa. I also set up a user for "Laptop" through the Data Management Server to connect to.
