Heretofore, we have used a wall with a line type that is shown: ----X-----X----X, to represent fencing and wire mesh partitions. Is there a way to create a wall in Revit with the same display. If not, what family is it that is wire mesh?

Why not use a curtain wall? That's what I use for fencing.

That's not the question I'm asking. I want to use a line type to show the partition in plan to differentiate it from other partition types.

To get a "linestyle" representation, you have to create a custom fill pattern similar to what you want. It'll be difficult though because when you have different wall thicknesses, you cannot have it show centered in all of them. Revit really lacks proper functionality for this (ex: life safety plans) and it is sorely needed. It's been requested for as long as I've been using Revit since 2005-2006.
