Roof Question

I need to join two roofs at different eave heights. When I do and cut a section I can still see part of the roofs inside the other one. How do I make this correct?

You can use the dormer opening tool to cut a hole in the 'host' roof. Note that sometimes this is fussy b/c of a circular chain of referencing, but it usually works.
