Hi Guys,
I have a student in my Revit class that has run into a problem. In the Properties window when you need to change a value the highlighted number looses focus when you move the cursor from the properties window. My student has limited mobility with his hands but he can use the On-Screen keyboard to enter text and numbers. So when he has a number highlighted in the properties window and moves his cursor to go to the on screen keyboard the focus is lost in the properties window. I have tried other on screen keyboards other than the standard windows keyboard, so it seems to be a revit problem. Does anyone have any suggestions or experience with this issue. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks

I tried to overlap the keyboard onto the palette. That seemed to work. Hopefully this student can use a dual monitor setup, since that keyboard takes up a lot of screen.

Seems like something that should be reported to Autodesk

Anthony's solution is probably the easiest. Stretch the properties palette across the width of the keyboard and then the user doesn't need to be as concerned about edging out of the properties dialogue.
One of the guys in the office suggested you look at this http://www.microsoft.com/multipoint/mouse-sdk/
It allows you to have multiple mice, with multiple cursors, attached to the same computer. The second cursor could be left on top of the keyboard for input. Not sure if that's too much easier than the 'stacking' option. Either way it seems like a lot of extra movement for someone with mobility issues.
