Unknown behaviour of opening object in family

I came across a window family which has an opening object that hides the reveal of the wall. I created another opening in the same family but it does not duplicate the same behaviour.

I'm wondering what actually controls the visibility of the reveal lines?

Does your view happen to be set to wireframe instead of hidden? I've seen that to be a culprit for lines going missing.

The view is set to Hidden.

I actually do want to know how to make the ends of the wall jamb invisible. It would be useful for constructing some designs of window framily.

You can use masking region to hide wall jambs.

Have you tried printing that view? I'm guessing that effect is a graphics display anomaly, and that the line would actually print. I loaded the family you posted, and all the jamb lines are visible in my project.
