I am trying to figure out a way that I can edit a table in one layout tab and have it automatically update in a different table in a different layout table.

Is there a way that you can do this? Currently running 2012.

Would setting up an excel spread sheet work and then bring in those cells from that spreadsheet into the table that I need per layout tab?

I do not know much about fields but could they possible work in this case?

Let me know what your ideas are... I am not afraid to pull out the Bible and read up on stuff that I am unfamiliar with... :)

A couple of ideas.

(1) If the table can reside in model space, place it there, then create viewports to it in each layout.
(2) Create a block of the table, then insert a copy of that block in each layout. Use BEDIT to edit the block definition.

Yeah I have thought about both of those options. The one with the block is a bit tricky as some of the tables are slightly different but use the same number in there formula's. Tables at a 1:1 scale have the habit of getting lost and I try to avoid adding extra view ports to my drawings.

But it is defenatly something to still consider.
