I have three Revit projects with multiple Revit links (MEP and Structure) that I'm trying to make sure all use the same coordinate system. I created a master Revit file (Phase 1) with a survey point about 170,000' southwest of my site (the GIS point). I then linked the master into the other Revit files and acquired coordinates. Everything is perfect with Revit. I've also have CAD files (Civil, Survey and Landscape) that I linked into the master and published my shared coordinate system with. However, when I link those CAD files into the other Revit files (even linking with shared coordinates, or setting the coordinates to the "DefaultLocation" saved in the CAD files) the CAD file moves 170,000' to the Northeast. If the Coordinates are shared and saved in the CAD file it should match the Master file's location.
How do I publish the coordinates in the CAD file so that no matter what Revit file I put it in, it's correctly placed?
