Topo & Pads

Hi,

I have set up a topo surface and used a pad to 'cut out' the soil where the proposed basement is meant to go.

Now in the middle of the building the basement goes a bit deeper (highlighted in green)

How would I cut out this area?

I was gonna use another pad below the first one but it keeps coming up with the messages that pads cant overlap.

Any help would be appreciated.

Just type "hatchedit" and remove the region... oh, sorry, it just LOOKS like Autocad.

Edit the first pad you created and make a "hole" in it where it doesn't cut the toposurface. Then add a second pad in the hole that goes down as you show it.

Just to add: Copy the lines from the first pad 'hole' to use for the second lower pad to ensure they are not overlapping.
