Disappearing Text

In Revit 2012: I have a elevation. See attached. The level text looks fine when I hover over it, but disappears when I mouse away. Any ideas why?

I would check your view properties to see if you have 'Crop Annotation' checked. Although the lower level is showing up... Could it be that something is blocking this in the view, a roof maybe?

Check to see if another view is overlapping. Sometimes opaque objects in one view will obscure part of another view if the views are overlapping on a sheet.

Found it. The title block had an oversized JPG file that would cover the detail view.
