I'm using 2002 and I'm trying to export part of my drawing to a WMF. The problem I'm having is trying to select objects drawn in Model space and text drawn in paper space together. Can anyone tell me how to do this, at the moment I can only select one or the other.

Thanks in advance.

Hi

I assume you have Floating Viewports in Paperspace that are looking at your Modelspace drawing.

If yes, go to Paperspace and Plot to DWF from there (can use Window selection so you only output what you want).

If no, go to Paperspace and create the required Floating Viewport(s). Then output to DWF as above.

Have a good one, Mike

Thanks for that Mike, I've now managed to create the DWF file.
Could you possibly answer another couple of questions :

Can I now insert the DWF into a word document ?

or

Could you tell me the best way to insert part of a drawing into a word document.

Sorry to be a pest.

Craig

Hi

No sorry needed.

Have a browse of the following thread (take not of links within) -

I want to print to an image? (http://forums.augi.com/showthread.php?t=8460)

+

The following article on Lynn Allen's Blog site -

Quick Tip - Powerpoint and AutoCAD Drawings (http://lynn.blogs.com/lynn_allens_blog/2005/02/quick_tip_power.html)

All deal with Powerpoint, but the exact same principles / procedures can be applied to Word.

Have a good one, Mike
