Stair plan show more riser line

When you model a stair you alway get an extra line at the top of the landing on plan view of the stair which is not included in the riser count. How can you set it up, so that automatic hide that extra line when you model a stair? Right now I have to go to all the plan view of the stair and hide that extra line with linework.

Welcome! I think you have "End with Riser" and/or "Start with Riser" checked or something, because it should always only show the actual number of risers drawn. Either that or something more funky. Have you looked at your stair in a 3D view?
