Hi All,
One of my team member created a separate file from the central file by detaching it. He saved this in a separate folder in our server to work on for some modeling and this is what happened.
1. He worked on Revit file from our server.
2. While working on the file his Revit suddenly crashed without any reason.
3. When he try to open again the file he was surprise that it was gone from the folder where he saved previously.
4. We try to go to the backup but unfortunately it’s not the updated one.
5. We search for the latest backup file and we’re surprised that it was reside in his local drive under the Revit subfolder (Journals) while he is working directly in our server? Please refer to the attached image boxed in red.
6. We also notice that additional numbers with dash was also generated at the end of the backup file shaded in blue.
Does anyone here can explain regarding this kind of situation/problem?
