Hi! How do you create an angled wall, one that is not 90 deg. from the floor line? I created a wall type called plywood and its only 1/2" thick, i would like to run it at 60 deg. to match up a piece of a roof parapet.

Thanks!

Cannot rotate a wall in that direction. Your choices are:
1. Create a mass using an extrusion and a void and place the wall on the mass face.
2. Create a wall using an in-place family, which essentially does the same thing without the mass, a little easier way to go. You create the wall using an extrusion and voids.

Hope that helps.

What is the geometry? A soffit, a fascia, a cant, a piece of trim? What do you mean by 'match up' a piece of parapet?
That might help you determine how you want to go about creating it.

Thanks! I have a soffit that angles 60 deg. that runs around two sides of a flat roof (like a parapet).

Check out the tools in the screen cap below to see how the different tools might be used.
Can you show us what the profile looks like?

Thanks, I didnt think about the tools shown. I did a wall sweep for the long runs then I tried doing an extrusion and inserted extruded family into my project. I didnt get the undersides of the roofs cleaned up where the extruded piece goes through. See image.

Cannot rotate a wall in that direction.

Isn't it time Revit gave us this ability? In the similar threads at the bottom, there are at least 30 replies, and probably many more using different phraseology.
