I have just been upgraded to a xeon processor wtih 2 gigs of ram and raid hardrive configuration. Also, have dual screens, a spaceball, an 8 button wireless mouse/keyboard.
Im not going into the software details. Holy moly, sweetness.

No kidding...
Is it a custom or is 'famous maker'? I've been eye-balling workstations and haven't been real thrilled with the configurations that are being offered...primarily because of the cost/availability of PCIx graphics cards (seems like all the new workstations have them).

I also have a copy of catia..........makes it easier to import files into AutoCad when you can make your own IGES/Dwg files!! In a couple of days I will finally get my Mechanical Desktop 2005. I also forgot to mention that there is a DVD writer in this bad boy and I am going to be watching a movie at lunch.........and Ive got 5.1 surround!
All compliments of having a computer supplied along with purchasing a copy of catia from the vendor we used......gotta have a machine good enough to run the software.
