having trouble creating my basment level

I created a new basment level in my model (did so in section) and it shows in elevation. However, i'm not getting any floor plan for it listed in my project browser.

any idea what I may have done wrong?


and yes, I am really really green on REVIT

Scroll down the project browser and look for ??? it is most likely under there.

looks like it was related to me creating the level by copying a previous one vs. creating from anew

Go to View Tab>Plan Views, and you can make the new Floor Plan from any Levels available on the list.

Cliff is right, plans are not created just by adding levels.

The other thing to remember is when creating a new level, if you want a plan view make sure the Make Plan View box is checked
