Brick Coursing Changing to Vertical At Wall Opening

At Home>Opening tab>Wall I cut an opening in a brick rainscreen wall and the brick coursing turned vertical at the wraps. Does anyone know why this happened or have a solution?

In case anyone else runs into this, I discovered the solution. I used Home>Opening>Wall to create the openings that caused the vertical brick. When I deleted this and used Edit Profile the problem was solved and the brick is now wrapping as one would expect.

That Opening tool is kind of a relic. I wonder if it really is necessary?

I agree. As a newish user this caused me HOURS of consternation until I finally gave up and resigned myself to the idea that this is the best Revit can do. It was only by accident that I noticed the edit profile tool and found that it fixed the problem.

The saga continues. It seems you can't use Edit Profile to cut an opening in a curved wall. You have to use the Wall Opening tool for this - though it's not precise or even accurate as it doesn't snap to anything, you have to just sort of eyeball it.
