AutoCAD Message - Unable to locate Resource Library acmSymBBRes.dll

Hi,
Can anyone help.

I am using Autocad 2000i, on Win98SE.

When using blocks, ie exploding editing then using copy & paste as block. I get an Autocad Message that says:

Unable to locate Resurce Library
acmSymBBRes.dll

Autocad then terminates when I click ok, I then get the usual useless windows error message.

Does anyone know why this might be happening?

A web search didn't really turn up anything, apart from trying "DLL Error Fix" utilities.

Has something recently changed on your PC that could have caused the DLL Error message to start appearing?

Have you tried to re-register the DLL file with Windows?

Have you tried a repair install on AutoCAD?

I think it is something to do with a profile I created. It only seems to happen when I use it.

I have recently replaced the HDD and re-installed Win98 & Autocad. If I don't use the profile it is ok.

AutoCAD profile (ARG file) or Windows profile?

If AutoCAD profile you could try the suggestions made within thread -

Start up error (http://forums.augi.com/showthread.php?t=13497)

OR

Simply Import a Profile (ARG file) from a another user that does not experience the problem.

What happens if someone else logs onto your machine, do they experience the problem?

I can confirm this error in AutoCAD 2009 on Vista 64-bit when inserting a block.
