Problems w. Revit Accepting Revised Lines in Existing Families

I have noticed that when I go to revise families, be they in-place or out-place, be they extrusions or sweep profiles, I more than occasionally have to remove the entire original set of lines and start over or the profile doesn't take. It's as though Revit has trouble attaching the new lines to the old lines. I think I ran into this sometimes in prior versions, but it has become rather frequent in R7.0

I've run into this very often as well. My work around is to export the profile to a dwg, delete the linework, then trace the re-imported dwg. pita, but it seems to work most of the time. I've been meaning to send one of these to support, but haven't taken the time.
