Class Description: This session recognizes that CAD managers need to regularly assess and address their management skill set to be an effective manager and move up the career ladder. This session will concentrate on showing how to justify your purchase requests with return on investment analysis, how to create a budget that gets management's attention, how to keep and maintain and build your staff, how to get management to support your policies and how to prepare yourself for new career challenges. It assumes you understand CAD but need to beef up your management skills to move on in your career path. If you manage staff, create a budget, purchase/recommend hardware and software or just have trouble getting upper management to support you, this session is a must.
