Hi Everyone. I currently have a tiny AutoCAD 2013 gripe that someone may have an answer for? In previous editions I was able to add dimensions to our drawings by starting an Aligned Dimension from say "an end point" of a given object then, using a "nearest running snap" etc we could let go of the mouse and use direct distance entry to apply a dimension of a given length in the direction of the object snap. When I try to do exactly the same process in ACAD2013 the moment I start to type the Running Object Snap disappears. I then have to enter the distance and move the mouse once more to regain the object snap after typing. This doesnt happen when I have DYN turned on which is strange? Has anyone else come across this or aware of a system variable etc that might have an effect? Thanks in advance
