AutoCAD 2013, SP1, Windows 7, 64-bit - I've got a user who attempts to use the Express Tools TXT2MTXT command (either by button or commandline type entry) he continuously receives "unknown command" at the command line. All the other commands in the software work fine. I've had him run EXPRESSTOOLS at the commandline to reload it (no luck). I've also had him run a repair on the software (no luck). Before I go down the road to perform an uninstall/reinstall of the software just to fix this one command I just want to know if anyone has run into this before.
Thanks in advance,
JP

Have you tried "menuload"?
You should be able to see the "express" in the dialog box.
Or you have to load the autocad media and "add features".

You need to go into the CUI, load a partial customization file by right-clicking on it, browse to ACETMAIN (Express tools).. you should already be in the correct folder by default.
Then you scroll up to your workspace right-click on the current one, hit Customize Workspace.. in the upper left, there's a panel showing whats in that workspace. Scroll down, make sure the Express is turned on, and hit down. Your screen will go blank for a second and when it comes back, you should be good to go.
Oh, and to verify that the Express Menu is turned on, prior to clicking done, scroll down in the upper right panel, find Express, expand it out, and make sure the ribbons and tabs are checked to be on.
