You can find the new vision below:

Today I just find out an interesting approach to use "Space Schedule" (Revit 2013) as Space Programming tool. And how to use the template, just go to "Space Programming" Schedule, then add new "row" and enter the space information. Please give any suggestion to improve that template.

Thanks

I typically to all of my Programming with rooms. We have a custom built web based software in house that we use for developing a program for our projects. I worked closely with the developer to allow syncing of data back and forth between this program and Revit. This eliminates a bunch of duplicate/triplicate work. What is even more exciting, is that we can use this program to tie rooms in different phases together. Our next step is to use our Programing software to create our room data sheets. This would tie into the Revit model as well.

Actually now I am developing a programming template using "smart parameter Mass" object. Then smart mass can be modified the size and report the area to the schedule. So, if I finish it later, I uploaded it. And let you try and give me some feedback. Why I want to try to develop that template? I just inspirate from that software- Trelligence Affinity for Revit.

One more thing I want to clear about this template. This template actually did something like as "smart excel sheet". Because everything is still manual and not link to Revit.

I worked closely with the developer

Would that be Larry Cisco?

Would that be Larry Cisco?

Negative, when I said the developer, I meant our web programmer that re-wrote the space programming in-house, not one of the Revit developers. Sorry for any confusion...

Sorry.... Larry is the CEO of Trelligence. I tried it out while it was in Beta (more like alpha, actually). It wasn't ready for Prime Time back then. I have heard good things about it since.
