Usetabe there was a problem with large radial dimensions.
Dimension a curved wall , for instance, to its centre mark and the long dimension line might run off the sheet, or across other sheet views.
The workaround was, ( prior to 7.0 and before the later 6.1 builds ) to place a filled region with no pattern over the unwanted piece of the dimension line. 7.0 stopped that by changing the way a no pattern fill interacted with the title block information.
The latest build of 7.0, 20050126_2030, fixed a problem for fills in drafting views which can now be placed on sheets without obscuring the title block. But that still left us unable to hide a dimension line with a fill pattern.
However, take a look at a radial dimension line in the latest build. It's stretchable ! That's right, select it and you can pull a blue dot grip to get the line and text to extend where you want it.
Factory - why do you continually hide your light under a bushel ? ( there is no mention of this in the features for this build )
Thanks very much ! it's appreciated.
