Can I lockdown a view range?

Is there anyway to lockdown a plan's view range so that other people in the project cannot easily modify it?

You can define it in the view template. It would show as grayed out unless they modify the template...

Using worksets you can technically borrow the view (edit view range) and not return it when you use Sync with Central. Might create other issues though.

Also if you wanted to be sneaky you could make a plan region with its boundary fully outside the crop region. .-D
