I've noticed the splines in Revit do not behave in the same way as the splines in Autocad. In the latter, the tolerance between the nodes and the curve itself is zero (if set to Method Fit): if I create a spline composed of three nodes, it will generate a "parabola" that passes through these three nodes. In Revit, however, the splines use the nodes merely as control points to guide the spline, generating in this way a parabola contained within the triangle composed by the three nodes, but not in fact touching the middle node. Is there a Fit Method in Revit? Or only control nodes?

Welcome to the forums.
In the project environment Revit will only create a spline of the 'control' variety. In the conceptual modeling environment (masses or adaptive components) you can create this type as well as a 'spline through points'.88719
What is it you are trying to accomplish?

Thanks for the reply.

I'm creating a prestressing cable family. These cables pass through a concrete beam, curving within it (changing the height between the cable and the top of the beam). I've already created the family using straight lines and while the result is adequate, it would be nice if I could actually use Fit splines instead, since it would more accurately describe the real behavior of the cable.
