Is it possible to tag, schedule, or somehow call out areas in an elevation view?
For building code purposes we need the area of a fire compartment facing in the direction of the elevation view. Sometimes the wall is pushed back, or closer, but that doesn't matter because the area is calculated on a plane in line with the closest building face to the property line. I need to pull out and note the area of fire compartments on an elevation.
It just occurred to me that I could made a phase for this, draw some "walls" in a phase dedicated to this purpose, and schedule the area of those walls. What are the probable problems with that?
Any other ways that are in the software for doing this without a work-around?
