I am having an issue where Revit is renumbering my rooms and doors when I move them around. I am working on an assisted living project where we have same size rooms and spaces. I had to change a wall type but now does not lineup with an exterior wall. When I move the rooms and walls over to match be aligned the Room numbers and Doors change to whacky numbers. Has anyone had this happen and how did you prevent it from happening again if you had to move a group of rooms? Or do I need to go back and change the room and door numbers? This is beyond frustrating. :banghead: HELP!

Nevermind! I found the problem. Disjoin was checked so screwed up my numbering. Beware of Disjoin when moving!!!!

As you have found, using move with disjoin checked is equivalent to "cut to clipboard" (in effect delete) and then "paste from clipboard". It is not really just moving the existing elements but recreating them in a new location.
