I'm wanting to merge a linked revit file into what will be a master file and am not sure how to go about doing this. Wondering if there is a nice easy way to do it or just a copy from one file into the other and replace it within the master?

thanks in advance

By "merge" do you mean copy all of the content from one model into another, so it is all "live"? You can do this by using Bind.

Cliff, that is exactly what I mean. I'll do a little digging on that 'bind' term and get rolling! thanks for the tip!

looking into it merging may not be what I was after. I'm looking for the previous portion to become editable within this master model. Right now it's just a 'group' within the model

Bind works pretty well--glad you got it. On very large models, be careful--Group>Link>Bind might fail if you do not have enough RAM. (Had this happen in the past--had to make a few Groups, Link and Bind.)
