I can not delete a group

Hi all, I am working with several residential unit groups to make different buildings, but I want to delete a group in the project browser after I selected all instances in the project of a group and deleted them. what is the best practice to delete a group from the project?

Did you try purging the group? From the Ribbon, under Manage >> Purge Unused

Right click on the group name in the Project Browser and click delete. This its the fastest way to get a single group out of the project.

On occasion, I have not been able to delete a group from the Project Browser (even though no instances of the group exist), and have had to Purge Unused.

Once going into the Purge dialog, I would recommend pressing "Check None," because you do not want to delete out every unused item in your project.

I think also that if the group has attached sub groups which are still in use that might stop it being delete-able.
