Existing Stair to be demo'd shows up on new plans

I'm demoing a stair, and although the phasing settings are correct, it shows up on my new construction show complete site plan. I can select the stair, but I cannot delete, hide, override graphics. how do i get the stair to go away?

Sounds like a problem with your Phase Filters. Check which phase filter is in use and (under Manage > Phase) how it is set to show existing and demolished objects. If the filter is set to override the appearance of demolished things, but not hide them completely, that might be stopping you make manual overides in view.

I had the same problem all phasing were correct... forgot I had underlay of the floor plan on. removed the underlay and all fixed.
