I have just started using Design Suite 2013. My most recent software prior to the complete catastrophic failure of my 2 workstations was AutoCAD 2008, so I'm hoping it's just something I'm missing. I started from scratch with this file, as I have none of my parts libraries loaded, just my usual, and most likely outdated method of 3D modeling. The problem is, it keeps disappearing. It is on screen in PS, and in one of my MS viewports. MS viewports were set to zoom to the object. All are locked in PS. I can redraw this stupid thing, and will be doing so, but I would like to figure out the cause before I start redrawing all of my complex assemblies. I can still select the object in all 3 views, it tells me that it's a 3d solid, but the minute I deselect it, it's gone. I can't copy with basepoint and paste into new drawing, as there is no basepoint for OSNAP to recognize. Manually entering in a basepoint and pasting it elsewhere results in nothing showing up. I'm assuming the horrific experience of having to switch to Windows 8 has fried my brain to the point where I can no longer figure out something that is most likely quite simple. Any input would be appreciated. Thank you kindly.
