Dashed Linestyles Reverting to Solid

Has anyone ever had a problem with the dashed line styles reverting back to solid? We have a project where every day or so the grids, level lines, etc. all switch back to solid, requiring a transfer project standards. It's probably user error, but I haven't been able to figure out how someone on the team is constantly overriding this - especially since they are all aware of the problem.

Do you have multiple projects that you transfer standards from, for different settings? Could be one of those is stomping on it?

We've been using that to fix it, but I imagine something like that or someone overwriting the styles when they load a family is where the problem lies. It's just happening with such regularity that it almost seems like there is an automated transfer standards setting I don't know about.
