I'm trying to make everyone in the office happy with our scheduling (impossible I know.) What use is adding a <Family Type...> paramter to a key schedule. It would be great if it could actually change the family type of the door, but it doesn't. Just wondering what clever uses people have come up with for this use within keys?
<Family Type...>
I mainly use it for filtering or sorting of schedule elements. For instance floor schedules. Usually I model tiling as a separate floor overlayed on the main floor. I can filter out these tiled floor families from the main floor schedule. Easier than using phases.

I guess what I'd like to see from key schedules is the ability for the Keys to seed the family information.
