Revision description

Is there a way to have the revision description different on each sheet but still have the the same revision number? For example, Drawing 1 rev A description "Window added", Drawing 2 rev A "Door changed", Drawing 3 rev A "Wall moved".

I've tried various ways using the revision dialogue box without any success. Any reasonable suggestions welcome.

Click on the relevant revision cloud - the modify: revision clouds: Revision bar appears; in the drop down box select the sequence with the desired description. Simple really.

I don't think you solved your problem quite right. You actually just created multiple revisions. I am going to assume that you don't have the Sequence parameter shown in your revision schedule but instead you may have a piece of text in your titleblock that calls out the revision letters. If you did have the Sequence parameter visible you would see that it would start with A and increases to a new letter with each additional sequence that you have used to be able to have a different description.

Thanks for your reply Joshua. I have the Sequence parameter set in my revision schedule but I set it as a hidden field. I have found that by clicking on the revision cloud I can apply whatever sequence description to that cloud that I want. So having set up my revisions in the revision dialogue box, I can choose which description to apply. So on drawing 1 rev A can be "Window added" and drawing 2 rev A can be "Door changed", etc. Of course, if I add a second revision cloud to the drawing and set it to a different sequence than the first one, the revision number increases. But if both clouds have the same description then they both become rev A.
