I have been doing lots of room separation lines lately. Rarely in Revit do I encounter what I think is an out-and-out bug, but I think I got one here.......
Using a simple floor slab:
Click room separation lines
select "pick from existing lines"
set offset to 18"
click edge of slab - one edge selects OK
hit tab - chain refuses to select (chain is checked)
hit escape to quit - doesn't work
switch to draw line or rectangle, away from pick existing line
escape now will work.
This is driving me crazy because my floor slabs are many-sided polygons. Because chain select doesn't work, I have to do one side at a time. That doesn't clean up the corners. :banghead:
BTW, if I select a slab edge outside of the room separator and hit tab, the same slab edges will create a chain every time!. After doing this a few times, the chain will work inside of room separator.
Has anyone else seen this happen?
