Walls by face

Why does non structural walls that was placed by face show up when the view dicipline is set to structural while the same wall type that was created normally, dissapear?

Unfortunately, walls by face are treated differently. This is question for The Factory. As you said, a non structural wall applied by face will continue to show even when the discipline of the view is structural. In addition to that, walls by face don't show analytical display or structural parameters in the properties dialog box, even if their type is matched to the type of a vertical structural wall.
