Last night Microsoft pushed out a Windows update. A number of our workstations (all on Windows 7) have an interesting thing going on, whereas a number of entities have turned red in color. We've found this to be the case only in release 2012 - 2013 is unaffected. The affected entity types are the hot links that are typically blue in color - such as Level tags, Sections and Elevation tags - and measuring text. Another anomaly is that a text style that was set to be red in color is now blue.... odd one

Anybody else experience this?

Have not seen it, but suspect it could be a .NET framework getting updated to 4.5 from 4.0, which has been seen to cause odd graphics issues with RAC 2012--2013 is compatible with .NET 4.5.

But don't stress too much, we haven't seen any problems with PDFs or print output. Others report that rolling back Update for Microsoft Windows KB982018 fixes this, also disabling Hardware Acceleration. Neither of which seems worth the trouble to me.

How about we agree to just use one thread, this one here: http://forums.augi.com/showthread.php?146570-All-of-my-section-cuts-levels-have-turned-from-blue-to-orange-help let this thread die.

I had the same issue. The quick solution was to disable "hardware acceleration" in whichever version of Revit that was affected. For me that was just Structure 2012, not 2010,2011 or 2013. Haven't noticed any issues or slow-downs.

The disable hardware acceleration might be the way to go. I've now started seeing PDF files including raster images where red and blue are switched.

Happened to us, also. Brown sections, anyone?

Turn off hardware acceleration worked, but roll back the Windows update worked too.

Which is worse?
