Formulas + "Rounding" + Instance Based elements

This may be asking too much of Revit.

I would like to make a table that has an instance based length parameter that will increase by 6" by pulling the grips. Any ideas on formulas that might be used to accomplish this?

I imagine that would be possible, but the grip itself wouldn't snap. You could tie a Reference Plane to a controlling Length parameter and then have another dependent parameter control the table's length using a formula to force it to six-inch increments.

Formula could simply be: = Roundup(Length / 6") * 6"
