Schedule plumbing fixture position

Is it possible to schedule the room in which a plumbing fixture can be found?

Yes, the room, or the space. Look for more parameters in the pull down menu at the lower left corner of the schedule properties window, like this:

As a side note, you won't be able to do it if the rooms are included in a link files.
For that you need to look into spaces(generated from the arch model rooms) and use that data. Not all information is passed on to space though.

If you have Revit MEP or Revit 2013 you have access to Embedded Schedules. Create a Room Schedule than there will be an Embedded Schedule tab to which you would choose Plumbing Fixtures.
